Poker is an exciting gambling game that is played with a standard pack of 52 cards. The aim of the game is to make the best hand possible by using the cards in your hand, as well as the cards in your opponents’ hands.<\/p>\n
A common poker rule is that the best hand wins the pot. The first person to call (make a bet) is said to be the “first bettor” and if no other player calls, the pot is won by the bettor.<\/p>\n
The betting interval starts after each round of dealing. In the second and third rounds of betting, the first bettor must make at least a minimum bet. In the fourth and fifth betting intervals, the first bettor can check or stay in without making a bet.<\/p>\n
If no player checks or stays in, the pot is won by the high card. The high card breaks ties when several people have the same hand, such as when there are two pairs.<\/p>\n
The final betting phase begins with the player with the best face up card. If there are still ties, the highest unmatched card wins the tie.<\/p>\n
After all players have checked, the dealer deals out additional cards to each player one at a time. This process is done in clockwise order.<\/p>\n
