In a Poker game, players may establish a fund for paying for new decks of cards and other expenses. This fund is usually called the kitty, and it is built up by “cutting” (taking) one low-denomination chip from every pot in which there is more than one raise. When the game ends, the remaining chips in the kitty are divided equally among those players still in the hand.
To win poker games, you must have a good understanding of the game’s rules and be able to read the other players at the table. To build your instincts, practice the game often with friends and family. You can also observe experienced players and try to analyze their behavior to learn from their mistakes.
